Learning and Skill Development

The Personal Training Micro-credential is comprised of one course, PED 273, which provides hands-on training in pre-exercise assessment, flexibility assessment, resistance training techniques, and cardiovascular training techniques. The Micro-credential introduces the design of an individualized workout plan for varying populations.

• Identify aspects of functional anatomy of the human body as they relate to personal training.
• Identifying physiological energy systems.
